Alfalibra and Frédéric Fontan presented the exclusive Canadian premiere exhibition of photographer-writer Tiery B. and his book “Narmada”. The thirty images were exhibited in the nave of the church reveal some of the existential inventory of this multi-faceted and continuously evolving artist, creating a constant interplay between carnal portraits and abstract elements. The graphics and contrasts are always striking, yet without harshness or excessive ornamentation. The technique is simple, but shows a consistent awareness for light and composition, resulting in thoughtful images. See less
